Mombasa County Public Service Board Transport and Infrastructure - Casual Workers / General Labourers Jobs in Kenya


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clear blocked and partially blocked storm‑water drains and channels

  • Remove silt, vegetation, litter, and debris from drainage infrastructure

  • Clear accessible culvert entrances and outlets

  • Place extracted material at designated collection points for removal

  • Identify damaged or defective drainage infrastructure for reporting to technical officers

    Note: Drainage clearance teams will operate under the technical supervision of the Department of Transport & Infrastructure.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Must be 18 years of age or above

  • Possess a valid National Identity Card

  • Hold an Artisan Certificate or other relevant qualification, OR KCSE Certificate, OR KCPE Certificate

  • Be physically and mentally able to undertake outdoor and physically demanding work

  • Be willing to work in any designated location within Mombasa County

  • Be available for the duration of the temporary engagement and comply with supervisors’ instructions
