Mombasa County Public Service Board Pharmaceutical Technologist III Jobs in Kenya


Job Description

  • Dispensing and impounding medicines.

  • Verifying and maintaining information relating to drugs issued to patients.

  • Ordering and recording of drugs and other supplies.

  • Guiding and counseling trainees and supervising other staff working under him.

    Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.

  • Registration certificate from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

  • Ability to communicate and explain treatments to patients, and liaise with other clinical staff.

  • Attention to detail — dispensing the right medicines in the right dosage is critical.

  • High organizational skills to meet role demands and avoid mistakes.

  • Good interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.

  • Adaptability to changing medicine environments, keeping updated on changes in licenses and new medicines.

  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
