Mombasa County Public Service Board Environment and Solid Waste Management - Casual Workers / General Labourers Jobs in Kenya


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect waste and debris removed from drains

  • Load waste and debris onto designated County/contracted waste trucks

  • Sweep and clean immediate work areas

  • Prevent extracted waste from returning to drainage systems

  • Support transportation of waste to approved disposal, recovery, or temporary handling facilities

    Note: Waste collection and evacuation teams will operate under the technical supervision of the Department of Environment & Waste Management.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Must be 18 years of age or above

  • Possess a valid National Identity Card

  • Hold an Artisan Certificate or other relevant qualification, OR KCSE Certificate, OR KCPE Certificate

  • Be physically and mentally able to undertake outdoor and physically demanding work

  • Be willing to work in any designated location within Mombasa County

  • Be available for the duration of the temporary engagement and comply with supervisors’ instructions

  • Persons with disabilities should provide relevant documentation confirming their disability, where applicable
