Required Qualifications

  • Served in the grade comparable and relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of three (3) years

  • A bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Environmental sciences, Energy, Environmental law or any closely related field,

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overseeing coordination and implementation of all climate change programs in the county.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation of climate change programs at sub-county level.

  • Contribute to identifying new strategic programming opportunities and partnerships in climate change programs.

  • Capacity building programs to inform members of the public on the matter's climate change.

  • Research, documentation and dissemination of climate change information at sub-county level.
