Moja Expressway Company Toll Attendant Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect toll payments (cash, cards, electronic) from drivers.

  • Issue receipts and provide correct change.

  • Verify electronic toll passes and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile cash drawers.

  • Provide directions and basic travel information to motorists.

  • Report equipment malfunctions, traffic incidents or suspicious activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and procedures.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of toll booth area.

    Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Professional work experience in computers and accounting preferred.

  • Basic IT skills.

  • Previous customer service, cashiering or cash‑handling experience preferred.

  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate computerized toll systems and POS equipment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work in varied weather conditions.

  • Ability to handle hard work and follow management requirements.

  • Age between 20–35 years.
