Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology

  • Post graduate qualification in Entomology

  • Bachelor’s Degree Environmental Health.

  • Post graduate qualification in Environmental Health

  • Post graduate qualification in Public Health.

    Experience Details

  • Should have a relevant experience gained over a period of six (6) years three (3) of which should be at Senior level or equivalent in a reputable organization

    Other Information

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Should have strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Contribute to policy formulation related to vectors and vector borne diseases.

  • Develop programmes for control of vectors and vector borne diseases

  • Design and carry out research in relevant fields

  • Participate technical support to districts.

  • Regularly assess the performance of staff in line with Result Oriented Management.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
