Mogo Finance Technical Support Operator - Nairobi Region - Kitengela Jobs in Kenya; The Technical Support Operator will conduct inspections, valuations, installations, and repairs of vehicles and motorcycles. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on repair skills, and the ability to provide client support while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Motorcycle Inspections after Repossession

  • Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles.

  • Compile detailed reports and recommend repairs.

    Car Valuations and Inspections

  • Evaluate car values using industry‑standard techniques.

  • Consider make, model, year, condition, mileage, and market trends.

    GPS Tracker Installation

  • Install GPS trackers on cars and motorcycles.

  • Ensure proper installation and functionality.

    SIM Card Installation

  • Install SIM cards into GPS devices.

    Motorcycle Repairs

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Collaborate with repair teams to resolve technical issues.

    Client Assistance during Loan Application

  • Provide technical guidance to clients during loan applications.

  • Address inquiries on technical aspects of financing.

    Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, valuations, installations, and repairs.

  • Generate comprehensive reports for compliance.

    Quality Assurance

  • Uphold high standards of accuracy in technical tasks.

  • Monitor processes to identify improvements.

    Customer Relations

  • Cultivate positive client relationships through professional support.

    Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to company policies, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Prioritize safety during inspections and repairs.

    Inspection and Diagnosis

  • Conduct holistic vehicle assessments (visual checks, driving tests, warning lights, smoke).

  • Identify and
    report fraudulent cars (tampered chassis, wrong chassis).

    Key Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience.

  • Fluent in English and Swahili.

  • Knowledge of Kenyan car market and vehicle technical structures.

  • High sense of responsibility, precision, and ability to prioritize.

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

  • Valid BCE category driver’s licence.
