applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions.

Job Title
Deputy Finance Officer - Planning and Financial Reporting - Scale XIV - AD/13/01/19 – 1 Post

Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess a Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and CPA Part
    III with 12 years working experience 3 of which as Senior Accountant Scale 13 or its
    equivalent
  • Registered by a recognized professional body in addition to having competence in accounting softwares.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to Finance officer, successful applicants will among others be expected to

  • Supervise all financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting processes
  • Financial planning and budgeting
  • Financial reporting and compliance
  • Management accounting reporting
  • Ensuring tax compliance and other statutory obligations
  • Supervising General Ledger
    reconciliations
  • Risk Management
  • Investment analysis
  • Offering mentorship
  • Guidance to staff.

    Terms of Service

    Appointment to the positions will be on contract terms or permanent and pensionable terms
    subject to successful completion of probation.

    However, Tutorial Fellows will be engaged on
    contract terms as directed by CUE for a period of not more than two (2) years, renewable once.
