M-KOPA Solar Field Service Assistant - Nairobi Jobs in Kenya



The Field Service Assistant; will lead customer onboarding and training for M‑KOPA’s mobility products. The role ensures smooth product demonstrations, compliance checks, and safe issuance of assets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Onboarding

  • Lead product pitching, demonstrations, and induction sessions.

  • Explain financing terms, insurance, driving school requirements, and customer responsibilities.

  • Review KYC documents and ensure compliance with policies.

  • Capture customer data accurately and sync with Customer Care Team.

  • Identify fraud risks or documentation inconsistencies and escalate.

    Asset Validation & Issuance

  • Validate asset readiness checklists (mechanical state, charge levels, accessories).

  • Manage end‑to‑end onboarding workflow: verification → training → activation → issuance.

  • Document and hand over bikes, helmets, and accessories.

    Customer Training

  • Deliver training on riding safety, insurance, battery care, charging, payments, and app use.

  • Validate customer understanding and track training attendance.

    Expertise

  • Diploma or tertiary training in any field.

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (front office experience a plus).

  • Basic technical knowledge advantageous but not required.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Attention to detail in shop operations.

  • Professional and friendly demeanor with customers.
