Job Summary

  • The Business Affiliate Team Manager is responsible for managing and leading a team of call centre agents or consultants, ensuring that sales, lead generation, and service targets are consistently achieved.

  • The role focuses on performance management, coaching, mentoring, compliance, and operational excellence while providing continuous support and guidance to team members.

  • The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of products, processes, and systems and will play a key role in driving team performance and customer outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise individuals within a call centre team.

  • Monitor individual and team performance to ensure targets and business objectives are achieved.

  • Ensure team members consistently achieve sales, service, and performance goals.

  • Provide real-time support and guidance for query resolution and customer interactions.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members to improve productivity and performance.

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of products, systems, and operational processes.

  • Promote compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Standard 10 / NQF Level 4.

  • Tertiary Qualification / NQF Level 5.

  • RE5 Certificate (as required by DOFA date).

  • STI FAIS Credits (as required by DOFA date).

    Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 1–5 years' sales
    experience within a call centre environment.

  • Previous team management experience in a call centre.

  • Short-Term Insurance experience within a call centre environment.

    Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to drive lead-generation and service-delivery targets.

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance processes.

  • Reporting, monitoring, and communication capabilities.

  • Employee performance management and team leadership skills.
