Qualifications and Requirements:

For appointment to this grade a candidate must: -

be in possession of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a university recognized in Kenya; and

be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

undertaking preliminary design;

supervision of construction; and

maintenance of classified and unclassified roads
