Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development Petroleum Officer, Transport and Storage (Development) Jobs in Uganda
Minimum Qualification Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Civil Engineering; or any other related field from a recognized University /Institution.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the the Senior Petroleum Officer, Transport and Storage for performing the following duties:-
Participating in the design and development of transport and storage facilities;
Ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment and other established technical, regulations in development of petroleum storage and transport facilities;
Monitoring development of transport and storage facilities so as to ensure compliance with set standards and contractual obligations;
Ensuring strict record keeping so that results of all significant inspections and testing are properly kept and readily availed whenever needed;
Assisting with review of technical reports for petroleum products transport and storage facilities;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
