Minimum Qualification

  • Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Chemical Engineering; or Chemistry; or any other related field from a recognized University/Institution.

    Working Experience

    Duties
    The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Petroleum Officer for performing the following duties:-

  • Reviewing and advising on refinery technologies;

  • Participating in preliminary activities leading to licensing process;

  • Developing and maintaining models of refinery designs and associated utilities;

  • Participating in the development of the legal and regulatory framework for refining;

  • Participating in the promotion of the refinery development to potential investors;

  • Participating in preparation of work plans, budgets and reports;

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
