Migori County Medical Officers Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities Represent the hospital and liaise with local and national authorities donor agencies to promote the hospital programs
Advice the management and board on clinical requirements
Carry out surgical procedure when necessary
Conducting internal quality checks at the hospital
Develop clinical protocol and procedures in line with the current SOPs
An officer at this level will work under guidance of a senior officer
Diagnosing, caring and treating diseases
Performing medical and surgical procedures
Preparing and responding to emergencies and disasters
Participating in management of medicines, medical instruments and equipment
Providing health education, maintaining medical records, health information and data.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (M.BCh.B.) degree from a recognized University.
Minimum of B+ Mean Grade at KCSE
Successfully completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution.
Registration Certificate from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council (KMPDC).
Valid practicing license from KMPDC
Training and knowledge in BLS, ACLS and ATLS are added advantages
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution is an added advantage
