Migori County Health Records and Information Management Officer Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities Receiving patients at hospital reception;
Registering and booking appointment for patients to clinics and consultants
Storing and retrieving medical records
Gathering data from different sources, capturing data from service points
Maintaining records, safety and confidentiality,
Balancing daily bed returns
Creating and maintaining master index, updating patients master index
Directing patients to relevant clinics
Scheduling patients to the consultants and specialty clinics.
Assigning codes to diseases and surgical procedures according to the international statistical classification of diseases and procedures in medicine and
Preparing medical records and reports
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
A relevant working experience of three (3) years in the public or private sector
Certificate in health records and information management from a recognized institution.
Registration by the Health Records Information Managers Board
Valid practicing license from Health Records Information Managers Board
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
