Migori County Economist Jobs in Kenya







Duties and responsibilities:


  • Collect data on current economic trends to aid decision making by the county leadership.


  • Make recommendations to the county leadership on necessary planning areas for consideration


  • Prepare reports, tables, and charts that present research results and interpret and forecast market trends


  • Write articles for publication in academic journals and other media sources on the development of the county.


  • Analyse and interpret numerical and financial information that is used for decision making in the county.


    Requirements for appointment


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics or its equivalence from a recognized University/Institution.


  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
