Migori County - Deputy Director of Trade Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating and monitoring activities performed by all divisions of the department;

Initiating and preparing papers on Government strategies on domestic trade policies and programmes;

Interpreting and implementing domestic trade policies;

Coordinating preparation of the Departments Budget estimates.

In charge of staff establishment, training and other staff development matters in the department.

Requirement’s for Appointment

Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, Law or Economics from a recognized university

A master’s degree from a recognized university/Institution or post graduate Diploma from a recognized university shall be an added advantage.

Demonstrate administrative ability and competence in work performance.

Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board located at Nyamome along Namba – Masara road adjacent to Nyamome SDA church.

on or before Thursday 21st January, 2021 at 5:00pm.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.

For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:

• Tax compliance certificate from KRA

• Clearance certificate from HELB

• Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)

• Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
