Meru University of Science and Technology Laboratory Analyst Jobs in Kenya



The laboratory analyst will be responsible for coordination of technical activities in the LC3-TRC Africa projects by ensuring that all testwork are done as scheduled.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out hands-on testing of cement and concrete.

  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment

  • Ordering and maintaining a record of supplies, tools, and materials

  • Documenting and compiling measurement results

  • Promoting safe working environment in the laboratory.

  • Preparation of laboratory reports.

    Required Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Material science or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized institution.

  • A certificate course on Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3) or equivalent short courses on cement technology will be added advantage.
