    Responsibilities

  • Maintain a System of Tracking procurement and Logistics requests and generate status reports
  • Advice the Logistics Coordinator on all issues related to procurement and logistics and ensure transparency and accountability in all activities
  • Maintain a proper record of expenditures, receipts, tracking sheets, supplies request, quotes, tenders, evaluations, waybills etc according to the Logistics Manual
  • Maintain up to date list of major vendors, suppliers, and service providers for all operational locations
  • Assisting in planning, implementing and/or supervise key services in the procurement process including asset management, general supply chain and functioning
  • Assisting in planning, implementing and/or coordinate logistics, procurement (goods &services)
  • Maintains relevant internal databases and files; keeps track of any contractual agreements, framework arrangements, etc. Ensures safe custody of the Purchase Orders, Quotations.
  • Reviews, records and prioritizes purchasing requests and obtains additional information/documentation as required; provides assistance to requisitions in preparing scope of work and specifications of goods and services; proposes product substitutions consistent with requirements to achieve cost savings; determines the availability of funding sources.

    Qualifications

  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • Desired- Diploma in Procurement and Supply/
  • Diploma from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Systems Administration, Procurement and Logistics
  • Outstanding Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Aggressive and Result Oriented
  • Able to meet deadlines

    Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen monitoring and evaluation procedures
  • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output
    Recommend further improvement of the logical frame work
  • Develop
    monitoring and impact indicator for the project success
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
  • Monitor the sustainability of the project's results
  • Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities
  • Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks
  • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities
    Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project
  • Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team
  • Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports
  • Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Project to ensure effective implementation of M&E
  • Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use
  • Assist Project Managers in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations
  • Assist in programmatic reporting to external bodies, such as Clusters and donors.
  • Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social Studies, Business Administration, Project Management and Economics
  • At least 2 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E in emergency and development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports
  • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software e.g SPSS
  • Proficiency in IT i.e Microsoft Office
