Main Purpose of Job

To manage the administration and relationship between service providers and Mediclinic on all benefits and funds to ensure streamlining of processes.

Key Responsibility Areas

Support Employee Wellness initiatives at hospital and corporate level

Research and optimise benefits and funds at Mediclinic

Provide management and administration with regard to benefits and funds

Manage key account and stakeholder relations

Communicate Benefits to Mediclinic

Train relevant parties on benefits and manage projects

Lead and manage the people in the HR Benefits team

Education

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field


Required

Essential

Minimum 5 years HR or employee benefits experience; 3 years supervisory experience

Desired

Experience with administration of medical aid and retirement funds; 3 years supervisory experience

Required Job Skills and Knowledge

Microsoft Excel

Understanding the HR policies at Mediclinic

Understanding the benefit of all the funds and fringe benefits offered

Understanding of the rules of Medical Aid schemes and retirement funds

Financial Skills (payments, reconciliations, validations)
