Main Purpose of Job

To plan, execute and report on IT internal audit projects and perform advisory IT projects; support to the GM Internal Audit (CAE) in the strategic development of the IT skills of the internal audit department.

Key Responsibility Areas

Plan, execute and report on IT internal audit projects

Plan, execute and report on IT consulting assignments or projects

Develop data analytics techniques to create internal audit efficiencies

Provide guidance to audit team members on IT related issues

Provide strategic input to the annual and three year rolling internal audit plans

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, accounting or related field

One or more industry recognized certification (i.e., CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, and Cloud+)

Desired Education

Advanced degree in information technology, cyber security or systems engineering

Required Experience

Essential Minimum Experience

8 - 10 years IT audit experience

Experience leading and supervising project teams, preferably in an audit or assurance

capacity

Desired Experience

Relevant experience in a variety of IT audits and across a variety of industries

Business continuity management

Cloud computing

Cyber security

Data analytics

Data protection

IT and internal audit standards (IPPF)

IT general controls

Security controls frameworks

Use of automated working paper tools
