The County Government of Nyandarua is looking to hire Medical Officers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery degree from an institution recognized by MP&DB;
  • Successfully undertook a one-year internship;
  • Be registered by MB&DB;
  • Valid practising license and letter of good standing from the Board; and
  • Be computer literate.
  • Required relevant work experience: 2 years
  • Required skills: Patient care; Surgery; Mentoring and coaching; Public health; Medicine
    viii. Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)

    General Conditions For All Applicants:

  • Must be a Kenya citizen,
  • Fulfils expectations of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.

  • National Identity Card;
  • Academic Certificates (from Primary to the highest level attained), Professional Certificates and Curriculum Vitae that includes three referees;
  • Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission;
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation;
  • Tax Clearance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority;
  • Credit Reference Bureau Certificate; and
  • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board.

    Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, care and treat clients;
  • Perform medical and surgical procedures;
  • Prepare and respond to emergencies and disasters;
  • Participate in the management of medicines, medical instruments and equipment;
  • Provide health education; and
  • Teach and coach medical students.
