Media Council of Kenya Chairperson of the Council Jobs in Kenya

A person shall be qualified for appointment as chairperson or member of the Council if that person-

Is a citizen of Kenya:

Holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

Has knowledge and experience of at least ten years, in the case of the chairperson, or seven years, in the case of a member, in matters relating to any of the following fields-law; journalism; finance; gender and human rights; performing arts; advertising; public relations; religious studies; communication; humanities and social sciences; or information technology:

Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and

Has had a distinguished career in their respective fields.

All applications (manual and online) shall be accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae, copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, testimonials, telephone number and email.
A copy of the National Identity Card shall be appended.
