Medecins Sans Frontieres NGO Kenya Laboratory Technician Jobs


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Reception of the samples from the field
    Plasma extraction, labeling, keeping updated record and register
  • Ensuring secure storage of biological samples and preparation for safe transport
    PIMA support and QA

    Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified Lab Technologist registered and licensed by the KLTTB
  • Laboratory techniques, level A1 or L2
  • At least one year experience with MSF project, knowing the PIMA machine
  • Fluent English speaking
  • Working experience with Word and Excel
  • Rigorous, dynamic and able to work within a team
  • Skills in biochemical tests and rapid tests

  • Respect of confidentiality, respect of the protocols, team spirit, rigor, capacity of learning, vigilance, reactivity and dynamism, respect of the schedules of work and the hierarchy
