Mission

  • Support the coordination office with HR and administrative related issues during the hand-over of the project in Somali region between MdM-France and MdM-Germany

    The main responsibilities of the HR Assistant are:

    General tasks

  • Ensuring that HR files of each employees is updated with all the required documents

  • Updating the HR database and personal files to facilitate HR processes management

  • Updating Social security & Tax office files in order to meet legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance

  • Preparing employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance

  • Preparing monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating the necessary data, in order to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll

  • Making all administrative information available to the staff (posting, meetings, etc.), supporting the Project HR Manager in translating documents into local language and assisting in meetings upon request

  • Following up on the medical insurance processes for
    the staff

  • Contributing to the recruitment processes

  • Following up on the expatriate’s processes (visas, work permits etc.)

    Hand-over related tasks

  • Prepare all the amendments of contracts for Somali staff

  • Prepares the hand-over of personal files

  • Under the supervision of the Admin/Fin Manager, carries-out all activities linked with legal requirements towards national authorities…
    Informs his/her line manager about any issue related to the hand-over

    Job Requirements

    Expected Profile

  • Diploma/University Degree in management and business-related fields.

  • Proven 2 years’ experience in a similar position with INGO

  • Excellent experience in HR and administration

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills both English and Amharic, proficiency in other language is a plus

  • Good time management skill and

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office
