MEDA-Mennonite Economic Development Associates Consultancy Service to Manufacture Rice Grain Storage Silos Jobs in Ethiopia

Objective of the consultancy service

The objective of the consultancy is to produ150 metal silos (per the specification in annex 1) that can maintain quality of rice for longer time.

More specifically the consultancy service aims to:

Create awareness for the large number of producers on the existence of the said technology

Encourage the availability of quality seed and grain for longer time

Create linkage between producers and technology manufacturer

Job Requirements

Required competencies

The consultants must have:

Training certificate on silo manufacturing from Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) and/or agricultural organizations

Broad experience and skills of manufacturing silo

Experience of working in Fogera, Libo and Dera areas of Amhara Region is an asset

How to Apply

Interested applicants should provide the following:

Cover letter that demonstrates the applicant’s understanding and interest in the consultancy work, describe the applicant’s capability for completing the assignment, include a timeline for completing the work, include examples of previous experience with similar activities (maximum two pages).

Financial proposal to accomplish the task (manufacture the silos and transporting to Hamusit town of Dera Woreda and Addis Zemen for Libokemkem.

The following must be submitted as well,
Renewed professional license of the company
VAT registration certificate

Renewed business license

Professional certificate of key personnel
