MSF Eastern Africa focuses on representation, networking, recruitment, communications, fundraising, diversity, equity and inclusion, data protection, training, medical operational support and environmental health.

Rationale/Objective

The CRM, Systems & Data Specialist leads effective management, development and continuous improvement of MSF Eastern Africa’s CRM and fundraising systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, integrated and aligned with fundraising strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Act as primary administrator and focal point for CRM and fundraising systems.

Manage CRM architecture, integrations, data flows, user access, permissions and troubleshooting.

Ensure accurate donor data processing, reconciliation, reporting and compliance with data protection.

Lead CRM development initiatives, integrations, workflow/process improvements, segmentation, reporting and automation.

Support CRM selection and implementation aligned with fundraising needs and strategy.

Analyse donor/campaign data; develop dashboards, reports and actionable insights.

Support digital fundraising specialist in automated donor journeys, segmentation and personalisation.

Enable fundraising excellence through training, onboarding, SOPs, FAQs and best practices.

Manage supplier

relationships; coordinate requirements, testing, troubleshooting and delivery.

Develop regular CRM/fundraising performance reports; support income modelling, forecasting and budget monitoring.

Integrate EDI & safeguarding aspects; embed duty of care principles in CRM administration and staff relations.

Competencies

Technical – Strong understanding of data quality, governance, privacy, protection and security. Ability to translate technical/data issues into business recommendations.

Behavioural – Commitment to MSF principles; analytical thinking; planning & organizing; results orientation; teamwork; initiative; networking; service orientation; ethics.

Languages

Fluency in English required. Knowledge of French desirable.
