Mathira Water and Sanitation Company Technical Assistant – Water Distribution III Jobs in Kenya;To ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the water distribution network, guaranteeing quality and adequate water supply to all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the water distribution network as per the developed maintenance schedule

  • Implement rationing programs to ensure equitable and efficient water distribution

  • Report and replace malfunctioning appurtenances promptly

  • Report and repair bursts and leaks in a timely and effective manner

  • Maintain storage tanks regularly as per approved schedules

  • Identify sectional needs for budget formulation

  • Ensure accountability of total water supplied in every DMA and zone to achieve recommended NRW levels

  • Undertake effective rehabilitation of water distribution networks

    Qualifications

  • Certificate in Water Supply/Plumbing/Non‑Revenue Water Management from a recognized institution, or Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing Grade III (or equivalent)

  • Basic computer skills

  • KCSE Certificate with minimum grade D+

  • At least 1 year relevant experience in a reputable organization
