Mathira Water and Sanitation Company Technical Assistant Jobs in Kenya;To undertake Non‑Revenue Water (NRW) management activities for achievement of set NRW reduction targets.

Key Responsibilities

Install master, zonal, and sub‑zonal meters at abstraction and key distribution points

Install and service pressure‑reducing valves; maintain data logs

Undertake minimum night flows to detect underground water losses

Conduct proactive leak detection within jurisdiction to minimize water losses

Attend to meter status reports to minimize illegal connections, faulty/stopped/covered/misaligned meters, and apparent water losses

Utilize leak detection equipment to confirm suspected underground leakage

Monitor terminated and disconnected accounts; report for appropriate action

Monitor zero‑consuming accounts; report for appropriate action

Participate in identifying sectional needs for budget formulation

Qualifications

Certificate in Water Supply/Plumbing/Non‑Revenue Water Management from a recognized institution, or Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing Grade III (or equivalent)

Basic computer skills

KCSE Certificate with minimum grade D+

Relevant work experience of at least 1 year in a reputable organization
