Mater Hospital Carpenter Jobs in Kenya

The Mater Misericordiae Hospital is seeking to fill the above position.

Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance & Projects the successful applicant will be responsible for the following responsibilities amongst others:

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive maintenance, carpentry work on all hospital furniture and fittings & Upholstery.

Undertake repairs of all carpentry defects reported daily or during inspections such as broken chairs, desks, flip chart boards, wardrobes, cabinets, shelves, and all the other wooden appliances/surfaces.

Carry out periodic checks and inspections of potential carpentry defects within the hospital to establish repairs and maintenance requirements.

Requisition for carpentry materials and supplies within the workshop stores, necessary for efficient delivery of services.

Ensure tidiness and safety of carpentry workstations and sites within the hospital.

Provide on the job training and supervision of staff and trainees attached under the jobholder.

Qualifications

Crafts certificate in carpentry.

Over 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
