Job Description

Title: Sales Representatives- for short term recruitment

MSIE would like to hire a sales representative for its product (Revoke 1.5 mg) for short period on the basis of basic salary and performance based payment approach.

Job brief

We are looking for a competitive pharmaceutical sales representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The pharmacy sales rep will act as the key link between our company and healthcare professionals and you will aim at meeting sales targets.

As a pharmaceutical sales rep, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s pharmaceutical and medical products and maximize sales growth.

Duties/Tasks

Building Business Opportunities

Identify wholesalers, retailers and persuade them to have our products

Collect orders from wholesalers

Increase sales growth to both wholesalers and retailors

Collect order from pharmacies and wholesales and pass the order to SO.

Develop action plan for visiting the pharmacies, wholesales and clinics monthly

Assure the settlement of the payment from customers

Recruit new customers every time.

Maintaining Business Relationships

Provide product information and deliver product samples

Build positive trust relationships (by providing the correct information, being on time etc) with medical representatives to influence targeted group in the decision-making process

Collect Resolve customer complaints and submit to their line manager for further investigation and providing solutions.

Implement the solutions provided by the line manager/sales manager. by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Ensure that all customers i.e. wholesalers, pharmacies, drug stores and drug venders have their own legally certified license and stamp.

Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

Documentation

and Reporting

Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback

Keep the line manager informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Provide records of customers lists with their full address and customer sales.

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Job Requirements

Person Specification

Required Qualification and Experience

BS degree Pharmacy and two years in pharmaceuticals sales or Druggist and five years of pharmaceuticals sales
Required Skills, Attitudes and Attributes

Proven work experience as a pharmaceutical rep or in medical sales

Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues

Knowledge of MS Office

Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

Strong organizational and time management skills

Passionate defender of women’s sexual and reproductive health rights

Duration:

This post is for consecutive three months with possibility of renewal for additional one month.

Payment:

Basic salary and performance-based payment. (negotiable)

NB. It requires sales of certain quantities EC per month

Duty Station: MSIE, Support Office, Addis Ababa

Fixed term contract: 3 months
