Mamlo Foods Field Sales Officer Jobs in Kenya; The Field Sales Officer will be the face of MAMLO FOODS at customer touchpoints, driving product awareness, boosting sales, and ensuring customers have a memorable and engaging experience with the brand. This role involves direct selling, relationship‑building, merchandising, and customer education across multiple channels, including retail outlets, pop‑up stores, farmers’ markets, exhibitions, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator, a passionate brand ambassador, and someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, impact‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
Actively sell MAMLO FOODS products through in‑person and digital platforms.
Educate customers about product features, ingredients, origin, and health benefits.
Communicate MAMLO’s social impact and story to inspire brand loyalty.
Upsell and cross‑sell products based on customer needs.
Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the Sales Lead.
Relationship Building and Customer Service
Build long‑term customer relationships through exceptional service and follow‑ups.
Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Collect and document customer feedback and relay insights to Sales and Marketing teams.
Merchandising and Visual Display
Maintain attractive, organized, and brand‑aligned displays at retail and event locations.
Ensure product visibility, freshness, and proper stock rotation.
Set up and dismantle promotional stands and booths for events and activations.
Market Development and Outreach
Participate in promotional activities such as samplings, exhibitions, demos, and roadshows.
Conduct outreach to new retail locations, vendors, and community networks.
Represent MAMLO FOODS at community events and trade shows.
Reporting and Analytics
Record daily sales transactions.
Track and
report inventory levels, sales volumes, customer queries, and foot traffic.
Share daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports with the Sales Lead.
Provide market intelligence on competitor pricing, customer preferences, and trends.
Logistics and Inventory Management
Ensure timely restocking of products at assigned outlets.
Keep accurate records of distributed marketing materials and samples.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with Commercialization, Operations, and Production teams.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product briefings.
Contribute ideas to improve customer journey and sales performance.
Qualifications
Educational Background
Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing or Business Management.
Experience
1–2 years in sales, promotions, or customer‑facing roles, preferably in food, FMCG, or social enterprise.
Experience in grassroots marketing, retail selling, or working with women’s groups/community networks is a plus.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with POS systems and record‑keeping tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
Knowledge of sales processes, CRM basics, and stock‑taking.
Driving skills (motorcycle).
