Mama Ngina University College Senior Lecturer (Nursing) - Jobs in Kenya



Qualifications:

  • BSc Nursing Degree or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University
  • Master Degree in relevant specialty from an accredited and recognized University A Ph.D. in Nursing.
  • At least three (3) years clinical experience in a recognized institution.
  • Supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent.
  • Registered by the Nursing Council and have a current practice license.
  • Three (3) years teaching experience in a University.
  • A minimum of thirty two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
  • Evidence of having attended and presented papers at conferences/ workshops/ seminars.
  • Evidence of the ability to attract research funding is an added advantage.

  • The applicants should provide full details of educational and professional qualification, work experience, present post and salary, applicant’s telephone number and e-mail address.
  • Applicants with certificates from foreign University should provide the translated version from Commission for University Education.
  • Copies of certificates and testimonials should also be enclosed giving the names and addresses of three (3) referees who are conversant with the applicant’s competence in area of specialization.
