Makueni County Assistant Inspector of Mines Jobs in Kenya







Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assigned work involving inspection of mines, quarries, explore, prospecting and mining concessions.

  • Undertake simple mining engineering projects such as mine and rehabilitation;

  • Study and familiarize with licencing procedures,

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must: —

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following mining/mineral processing engineers or civil engineering from a recognized university.

    Additional requirements

  • Ability to handle technical issues effectively;

  • Ability to write, edit and compile comprehensive;

  • Skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues;

  • Quality of being honest and non-corrupt;

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
