Madison Group Limited Senior Supervisor – Pensions Administration Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end‑to‑end administration of pension schemes including onboarding, contributions, benefit payments and exits.

  • Verify and approve complex fund updates, scheme valuations, member statements and regulatory filings.

  • Authorize escalated withdrawal requests and high‑value transactions within approval matrix.

  • Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and support audits.

  • Lead and coordinate trustee and member meetings, AGMs and training sessions.

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual scheme performance and compliance reports.

  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance and performance oversight for junior staff and supervisors.

  • Drive innovation through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders (clients, intermediaries, custodians, regulators) to resolve complex scheme matters.

  • Contribute to preparation of scheme‑specific board papers and performance dashboards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

    Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.

  • Professional qualification in retirement benefits, insurance, marketing or business development (FSRI, CPSP, AIIK, CPAM, CIM).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pension administration, with at least 2 years in supervisory/team‑lead
    capacity.

  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Benefits Act and regulatory framework in Kenya.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
