Qualifications

  • Certificate in Braille Transcription or equivalent; Braille proficient.

  • Adequate Braille transcription skills.

  • Certificate in Braille machine maintenance or repair.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ service in a similar position.

  • Computer literate.

  • Proficient with specialized Braille translation software and orbit reader 20 devices.

  • Adequate communication skills.

  • Team player with leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Strong budget planning and negotiation skills.

  • No criminal record or association with fraudulent/unethical activities.
