Machakos County Public Service Board Deputy Director Administration Jobs in Kenya

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

i. Implementing, reviewing and interpreting administrative policies, strategies, procedures and programme;

ii. In managing and supervising the general administration services,

iii. Implementing public services reforms,

iv. Facilitating maintenance of infrastructure and facilities,

v. Planning and coordinating office accommodation;

vi. Managing county government assets,

vii. Ensuring service delivering in the area of jurisdiction.

viii. Facilitating mobilization and ensuring prudent utilizing of resources;

ix. Facilitating citizen participation in the development of policies, plans and delivery of services in the area of jurisdiction,

x. Overseeing safe custody of government assets in the area of jurisdiction,

xi. Ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements in the area of jurisdiction


Qualifications:

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have

i. 15 years of experience in public service

ii. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - public administration; business administration/management, community development or any other social science from a recognized institution;

iii. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: public administration; business administration/management, community development or any other social science from a recognized institution:

iv. Diploma in advance public administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution:

v. Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution;


vi. Certify chapter six (6) of the constitution
