Job Description

The major responsibilities of the post will be

Plan and deliver sales activities of the company at HIP,

Complete order taking process for standard service requests,

Complete order taking process for non-standardized service requests,

Follow-up the service request processes,

Track service delivery processes,

Support the import/export process, collecting and processing related documents,

Lead & manage customs clearance process of import/export,

Handle operational irregularity issues,

Follow-up final declaration for import/export,

Lead & manage duty free permit, bank permits in the Hawassa region as a relay for MACCFA’s head office,

Be the first point of contact for the customer to solve forwarding and documentation issues,

Frequently update the client and all stakeholders in compliance with MACCFA’s standards of service,

Job Requirements

1. Required Qualification

BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Marketing Management or other related business fields.

2. Work Experience

At least 3 years

of experience on import/export documentation & customs clearance and freight forwarding/logistics business.

Experience in marketing areas is also a plus

3. Skills/Core Competencies

Sound understanding of the logistics business, especially forwarding between Ethiopia and Djibouti,

Strong sense of customer’s service,

Responsive and adaptive behavior, able to follow and report on multiple assignments,

Meeting tight deadlines and being available outside of working hours,

Follow administrative procedures rigorously,

Autonomous personality, able to work independently,

Excellent communications skills,

Fluent in English, able to work in an international environment,

Proficient with MS Office, &

Valid driving license is preferred
