Job Specifications

  • PhD degree in relevant area of specialization from a recognized and accredited University.

  • OR Master’s degree plus a first degree, at least three (3) years of teaching experience at University level, and at least two (2) publications in refereed journals (minimum publication score four (4) points).

  • Registration by relevant professional body (where applicable).

    Job Description
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • Articulate the mission of the department and the University.

  • Initiate, plan, and conduct research.

  • Develop teaching materials.

  • Supervise postgraduate students in research activities.

  • Participate in development and preparation of Faculty Development Plan.

  • Attend and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences in relevant fields.

  • Participate in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula activities in the department.

  • Set, process, and mark examinations.

  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the Vice‑Chancellor, Dean of Faculty, or Chairman of Department.
