M4M Global Photography/Videography Competition for Young People

With the support from Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, Me for Myself (M4M), an international campaign on Mental Health and Well-being focuses on celebrating International Youth Day (IYD) along with World Photography Day by launching a M4M Global Photography/Videography Competition to encourage young people to capture photographs or videographs on issues around Mental Health and how this impacts their lives.

International Youth Day (IYD) is an annual celebration to recognise the role of young people as partners in change and an opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges that youth face globally. Greater efforts are needed to raise awareness about the importance of young people’s engagement in global health issues such as Mental Health.

In this globalized and digital photojournalistic era, young people are the experts in digital storytelling.
