    Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma and above in inventory management, Inventory Control, and any other business/inventory related field

    Work Experience:

  • 2 years. Work experience in retail or cosmetics or FMCG sectors or Inventory Audit in an inventory intensive environment would be an added advantage
    Reporting to the Internal Audit and Security manager, the Inventory Audit Associate will be responsible for providing support in Conducted inventory audits and relayed final results.

  • Job duties include counting current stock quantities, reviewing inventory records, and documenting and reporting any discrepancies between the two.

  • It also includes determining why there may be missing products or why figures were miscounted, and advise on ways to limit future inconsistencies. .

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform inventory spot checks / stock takes in the warehouse and Retails Stores that entails the following tasks:

    • Performing a stock count per sample(s) allocated

    • Generate variance reports

    • Perform counter check
    of variances and inventory movement audit to investigate cause of variances

    • Obtain sign offs from the responsible teams in the warehouse/Retail Stores

    • Provide a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations on exceptions noted

    • Thoroughly investigate, document and resolve in a timely manner any stock variances.

    • To report inventory issues such as shortages, overages, mis-shelved products, expired and damaged items.

    • Participate in the carrying out annual companywide and/or random stock takes.

    • Any other duty that as allocated by the supervisor.

    Required Skills

    • Data entry and accuracy

    • Communication skills for the purpose of report writing.

    • Basic Math skills and Accounting knowledge

    • Attention to detail and organization skills

    • Computer skills and experience in accounting software

    Education, Experience and Skills

    • Minimum of Diploma / Degree in Inventory Management, Inventory Procurement and Supply Chain Management or any other related field.

    • 2 years of experience in inventory procurement / inventory management / inventory audit / internal audit.

    • Knowledge in accounting software (e.g Sage, SAP, etc) and/or Inventory

    • Management and Control Systems and record management.
