Lily Hospitals Limited Radiographer Jobs in Nigeria;The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high‑quality imaging standards.

The Radiographer will work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiographic examinations by explaining procedures and addressing concerns.

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including general X‑rays and other imaging procedures as assigned.

  • Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and best practices.

  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality and report faults promptly.

  • Review image quality and repeat examinations only when necessary to minimize radiation exposure.

  • Maintain accurate patient records, examination details, and imaging documentation.

  • Assist radiologists and physicians by providing high‑quality diagnostic images for interpretation.

  • Observe infection prevention and control procedures at all times.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards.

  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Provide support during emergency and urgent imaging procedures when required.

    Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • Valid professional registration and current practicing license.

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and radiographic procedures.

  • Sound understanding of radiation protection principles and patient safety standards.

  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and related technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
