To support and manage all clinical operations by delivering appropriate, consistently high quality and cost-effective preventive and curative clinical services to all patients and their families in a professional manner.

    Roles and Responsibilities
  • Record patients’ medical records and monitor vital signs.
  • Supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs.
  • Coordinating daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments and patient care.
  • Overseeing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
  • Mentoring and training new staff and providing support and guidance to all staff members.
  • Monitoring medical charts and providing compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
  • Liaising with doctors and administrators and communicating any protocol changes to staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Handle complaints appropriately in accordance with the Hospital’s Policies and procedures in place
  • Recording and maintaining accurate reports.
  • Identifying issues or emergencies and responding in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times

    Turnaround time in patient services delivery and follow up.

    Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
  • First degree in the following fields: Medical training, clinical Medicine, mental health, Public health, Psychology with 2 years’ experience OR Diploma level in Nursing/Clinical Medicine with 5 years’ experience.
  • Must have managed a medical service delivery unit for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience in mental health will be an added advantage
