Laterite Research Analyst Jobs in Tanzania;We are seeking a Research Analyst with strong data analysis skills and motivation to work in socio‑economic development research to join Laterite’s office in Dar es Salaam. This position is open exclusively to Tanzanian nationals.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    Supporting Research Projects

  • Support ethical approval, research design, and instrument development.

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

  • Draft report sections and client presentations.

  • Support communication with clients and project teams.

    Contributing to Data Collection

  • Code survey instruments using SurveyCTO and ODK platforms.

  • Collaborate on training materials and support enumerator trainings.

  • Participate in field visits to improve data collection processes.

    Strengthening Data Quality and Analysis

  • Monitor, clean, and validate survey data.

  • Resolve data quality issues with field teams.

  • Support statistical analysis and interpretation.

  • Contribute to consultancy‑quality reports and insights.

    Business Development (Optional)

  • Contribute to technical and
    financial proposals.

  • Support proactive business development efforts.

    What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Public Health, Development, or related fields.

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience (internships, dissertation, or academic research acceptable).

  • Strong quantitative data analysis skills; proficiency in Stata.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

  • Experience with ODK platforms (SurveyCTO) welcomed.

  • Previous work experience in Tanzania preferred.

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
