Job Description

Land O’Lakes International Development Fund, Public-Private Partnership for Artificial Insemination Delivery (PAID) is public private partnership between Land O’Lakes International Development Fund and the Government of Ethiopia working in high potential milk sheds in Ethiopia.

PAID and the government will address genetics constraints to dairy sector development and growth in Ethiopia resulting in improved calves with higher productivity to meet a growing market demand.
PAID is looking for Data Enumerators to enter, clean, reconcile and verify data collected from AI technicians on Artificial Insemination, calving and farmer training.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Data Management Analyst (DMA) and the regional focal persons (RFP), the Data entry persons will:

  • Receive data from AI technicians and provide feedback
  • Check for validity and verify the data
  • Enter completed data accurately
  • Clean data and check for errors
  • Report the status
    of the received data to RFP and DMA
  • Discuss with the DMA and PAID office data entry persons on the data edit reports
  • Maintain the data base as well as orderly filing of hard copies of the data
  • Conduct monthly data monitoring for number of AI techs submitted data per cluster, missing and incomplete, information unusual values and other related issues share report to RFP and DMA,
  • Ensure the quality of data from collection to data entry
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information collected

    Term of employment: Contractual – for 3 months, with possible renewal

    Job Requirements

  • BSc degree in Statistics, Data Base, Computer Science, etc
  • Basic knowledge in computer (Microsoft Excel, Access, word)
  • Previous experience in data management and/or data entry
  • Knowledge on ODK is preferable
