Job Specification

The duties and responsibilities at this level will involve: -

Identify Water Service Providers within the Agency’s area of jurisdiction;

Managing the community Development section and coordinate activities such as formation of Community Water Service Providers;

Mobilization of Community Based Organizations;

Sensitization of communities on formation of CBOs, dissemination of information;

Develop mechanisms to address hindrances CBOs, NGOs;

Provide guidance on preparation of proposals on community projects that require funding.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have/ be:

A minimum period of four (4) years relevant work experience;

Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Community Development, Development Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution;

Professional Development in a relevant field;

Membership to a professional body where applicable;

Demonstrated competence in work performance and results;
