Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be on-the-job training and will work under the supervision of an
experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:

Simple maintenance of firefighting appliances and assisting during emergency cases.

Requirements

have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D (Plain);

Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III in the respective craft;

Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized institution;

First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (l) week;

Certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service; and

Heavy Commercial Driving License.
