The ideal candidate should be able to instruct drivers in category B, C, D, and G on: Safety procedures, Preventive maintenance, Startup procedures and Defensive driving with basic mechanics.

Overall Job Purpose

To provide theoretical, applied and technical knowledge to diverse categories of drivers aimed at developing their driving abilities in terms of capacity, safety and technical understanding.

Duties and Responsiblities

Assessing the Trainees’ Knowledge, identifying skill gaps and preparing skill mapping.

Prepare a Training plan with cost estimates.

Deliver engaging and effective training which results in successful outcomes for the company

Submit daily and weekly reports on training activities, trainee performance and utilization to management

Maintaining documentation on Training

Qualification

Must possess a relevant Diploma

Must have gone through all relevant training and possess a Trainer's certificate

A valid instructor’s License and a clean driving record.

Proven track record in motor vehicle technical Training.

Ability to deliver technical training in both field and classroom environments.

Experience performing repair and strong demonstrated motor vehicle diagnosis and repair procedure knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills.

Ability to deliver complex knowledge in a simple understandable manner to the trainees.
