Kwale County Government Registered Community Health Nurse III Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic care through risk identification and assessment.

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations in various settings.

  • Assess, plan, and implement evidence‑based nursing care.

  • Create and maintain a safe nursing environment.

  • Conduct patient audits to improve care.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families.

  • Carry out therapeutic communication with patients.

  • Conduct community health risk assessments and interventions.

  • Document interventions and nursing outcomes.

  • Participate in quality improvement and assurance procedures.

  • Diagnose common health conditions and recommend interventions.

  • Perform any other relevant duty within the County Health Department.

    Requirements for Appointment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery.

  • Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Registration certificate from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills
