Kwale County Government Nutrition and Dietetics Technologist III Jobs in Kenya


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement nutrition programmes.

  • Provide nutrition services in healthcare facilities.

  • Conduct nutrition assessments.

  • Collect and compile nutrition data.

  • Provide nutrition health education and demonstrations.

  • Counsel patients with specific nutritional needs.

  • Monitor preparation of therapeutic feeds.

  • Implement outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.

  • Promote maternal, infant, and young child feeding programmes.

  • Provide micronutrient supplementation.

  • Work flexible shifts with strong commitment to patient care.

  • Perform any other relevant duty within the County Health Department.

    Requirements
  • Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution.

  • Registration certificate and valid practicing license with the Nutrition and Dietetics Council of Kenya.
